About Nomad Footwear:
| In 1997, two shoe salesmen wandered from city to city, store to store, inspired by an idea that would transcend into something they never thought imaginable. Their dream was to build a brand that would represent the free-spirited individual; the individual who followed trends and appreciated fashion, but never forgot who they truly were. Hence, Nomad was born; representative of their own ideals, as well as the nomadic attitude that lives within each “nomad” girl.
Being one of the pioneers of the high EVA foam sandal, Nomad Footwear journeyed from the junior fashion market, making its mark in the shoe industry. Since then, Nomad Footwear has transformed its styles to shoes like the Cork Wedge, creating styles that could be worn by any girl, day or night. The logo of the little red man encompasses the ideals of Nomad Footwear. Like the vibrantly colored historical figure, Nomad Footwear has continued stay true to the origins of their company, passionately striving to create shoes that not only provide comfort, but also original styles and versatility to all of its loyal customers. Creating fashionable sandals, flip flops, flats and rain boots that any free spirited-girl would love to journey in, it’s no wonder why people everywhere choose to “wander off and be a Nomad…” |
My Thoughts:
I was pretty excited to be able to review a pair of the Puddles Purple Snake Skin Rain Boots from Nomad Footwear. I have always wanted a good pair of rain boots, but have had a hard time finding a pair that I like. I fell in love with these as soon as I took them out of the box. They are beautiful! I am impressed with how stylish they are. Usually rain boots look like cheap rubber farm boots, but these are stylish, pretty boots that I would feel comfortable wearing anywhere. The next test would be how comfortable they are. I decided to try them out and wear them for a trip the store. I wanted to see if they would be comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. There is nothing I hate more than wearing uncomfortable shoes and getting sores on my feet. I was delighted that they felt great on my feet. They are easy to get on and off and are quite comfy. We get some pretty rainy days around here so I am super excited to have an awesome looking pair of boots to wear no matter what my plans are for that day.
I am actually looking forward to rainy days now. Nomad Footwear carries a variety of different shoes including: sandals, flats, casuals, heels, and wedges. Don’t forget that they have shoes for women and children so you can outfit your whole female family with a great pair of shoes. Their prices are extremely reasonable and I can’t wait to order a few more pair. There are some sandals I have been eye balling. They have an awesome Clearance section on their website and you can search for shoes by your size, which I love. They also have monthly sales where you can get some super cool deals.
