About Oransi:

Oransi, based in Austin, TX, develops green cleaning products such as air purifiers to clean the air so you and those around you can breathe easier, sleep better and feel rejuvenated. The number of children and adults who suffer from allergies and asthma has continued to increase and our air purifiers provide high performance without the features you really don’t need. We also sell highly efficient laundry cleaning products that are better for you, your wallet and the environment.  We are a leader in innovation with our products and business model where our sales and customer service reps are part-time “stay at home moms” similar to JetBlue. In addition, we believe in giving back to our community and donate 5% of our income to promote student interest in science, engineering and math so they can develop even better cleaning products for future generations.

With a passion towards all things clean we offer best in class products and cleaning tips in order to help people, the community and our environment.  As parents of children who have dealt with asthma attacks and allergies we have experienced first hand the need to do more. Medicines, particularly the steroids used to treat asthma, can take their toll on child and parent alike. With a practical air purifier we aim to provide an option to improve your health in a non-invasive manner. The air purifier won’t necessarily eliminate your allergy or asthma condition, but it is something positive that you can do and we are confident the use of our air purifier will help. It’s helped for us as well as thousands of our customers.  With our laundry cleaning products we aim to eliminate the hassles of dealing with traditional laundry detergent with a solution that is better for you.

Oransi is operated by an experienced management team and our engineers have designed and manufactured air purifiers for the past 16 years. From first hand experience in trying to manage allergies and asthma, we are well aware of the challenges and are thrilled to offer our line of practical, non-invasive air quality solutions to help others. By having a leadership team that is passionate about helping our customers breathe easier and feel better, we have the outlook to make a real difference in our customers’ lives.

We are not green for green’s sake but instead take a green viewpoint if it is the right thing to do. If we can save you money and it helps the environment – that is the right thing to do. That’s why we focus on energy efficiency and have a minimalistic design and feature set. Our employees use all of our products and are passionate about them. We encourage our employees to work from home to reduce fossil fuel consumption – so if you hear a pet in the background know that they will be attended to as soon as you are taken care of. It’s just the right thing to do.

I had the opportunity to review the  Ionic Fridge Air Purifier. When I got the air purifier and saw how small it was I didn’t think there was an way that it would keep my fridge smelling fresh. I decided to give it the all american try though and put the batteries in. I was really surprised that it made no sound at all. The only way I could tell that it was on was the light in the front.  We really put it to the test and with the holidays coming you can imagine all the smells hanging around in our fridge. We had onions, egg salad, cheeses, and all kinds of meat. I figured if this little purifier could fight off all those smells that it was well worth the money.

The purifier lets you know when it is running by a light in the front of it. It’s small and compact so it will fit anywhere in your refrigerator. I put it in my fridge and kind of forgot about it until I realized how fresh my refrigerator smelled. I asked my husband if he had cleaned it out and he said no. I love that it is safe for the environment and that it works perfectly. It has a timer and turns itself on and off every 5 minutes. It doesn’t take filters so you don;t have to worry about replacement or maintenance. All you have to do is put batteries in it…it couldn’t get any easier! So for about $1 a month you can keep your refrigerator smelling brand new.

The hardest smell to remove from my fridge is fish! My FIL goes salmon fishing once or twice a year and brings some back to give to us, and if we forget that it’s sitting down there in the drawer… augh!
